The Hungerford Hill Classic wines are from the best regions of New South Wales. The wines showcase both their varietal and regional personality with clarity and intensity; they are versatile and compliment food.
The name Fumé Blanc was originally coined to describe a dry version of the Sauvignon Blanc variety and over time with deliberate winemaking influence has come to include the measured use of older oak to add complexity and weight to this normally light and crisp style of wine.
Straw yellow in colour with obvious tropical fruit, coconut and toasty, vanilla aromas. A very soft and consistent palate with a steely finish and slight grip.
